Why there is a need for…
Sharing
Freely...Assistance Dog Education Presentations
Every day an Assistance Dog Team is denied access somewhere.
This is an all too common situation that can easily be remedied
by educating individuals and businesses in our communities. There
are laws that stipulate the accommodation for access in public spaces
and buildings. It is however, necessary for people to know and understand
the laws in order for the laws to do what they are intended to do,
which is to provide for equal access for those persons who have
Service Animals. Who better to help you understand than an actual
Assistance Dog Team?
While
many people are aware of Guide Dogs, we are frequently asked questions
which tell us that many people are not aware of the other services
that working canines may provide for the partners of various disabilities.
It is also quite common for people to distract an assistance dog
from it's work, unintentionally. We believe that education is the
key. We are willing to share our story, provide assistance dog information
and help you to understand the laws all with a faun learning style.
Because memorizing the laws is not enough, understanding why laws
exist is a bridge building experience toward equal access for everyone!
