Services Offered

Paws to Freedom teaches people with disabilities to use their abilities to train their own service dog through a structured training program.

Mara, our service animal consultant, also offers private consults. The consults are offered for those interested in training their own service dog, those already training their own service dog, family members, healthcare providers and other community members interested in learning more about service dogs and the ways in which they can be trained to assist their human team member.

We also offer a Service Dog Information Seminar for those interested in training their own dog, family members, healthcare providers and other community members interested in learning more about Service Dogs and the ways in which they can be trained to assist their human team member.

TAGteach is also incorporated in the program. TAGteach for handlers, is a teaching technique to enhance the handler's skills with greater success in training strategies. For more information about TAGteach, visit their website.

Presentations in the community about service dogs are also available for schools, businesses, groups, churches, colleges, healthcare professionals and other others looking to learn more about their training, their assistance, the partnership and equal access for service dog teams. The mission to education commits our trainer and teams in offering information to groups of all ages.
